Three major organisations immediately took up our services - BAA (Scottish Airports), The Royal Bank of Scotland and Glasgow 1990, City of Culture We retained both BAA and RBoS for a number of years, based on our reliability and effectiveness, while adding further blue-chip businesses to our client list, including United Distillers and ScottishPower. In 1994 & 1995 Connect was chosen to work on a European Union project relating to disability, providing project and event management for a pan-European initiative.

We have experience of planning and implementing all forms of marketing initiatives - advertising and PR campaigns, events, website development, graphic design, social media campaigns etc.
We have serviced clients (throughout Scotland), nationally (throughout the UK) and internationally (throughout Europe - including the European Commission).
Our client work has been as diverse as project management of the Pandas coming to Edinburgh Zoo to key account strategy for a FTSE 100 organisation.
Our client list has been the envy of many and we have undertaken projects in Financial Services (Prudential, Standard Life, Scottish Widows), Visitor Attractions (The Falkirk Wheel, Edinburgh Zoo, The Helix), Healthcare (BMI, CardioActive, Proclaim Care) and most other major industry sectors.

In 2010 we took the strategic business decision to move away from a planning and execution service to a strategy and advice service. This was primarily based on the importance of being seen as being able to provide strategic marketing advice completely independent from the implementation of that advice.

In 2011 our market leading and innovative A-P-I Marketing Strategy "tool" was developed and launched. This has been the focus for all our strategic marketing engagements since 2011 and has been "stress tested by over 200 organisations to date.

In 2012, Connect was asked by Scottish Enterprise to participate in a pilot to introduce a Marketing due dilligence element to their SMART Grant application process and have gone on to "vet" over 100 SE Grant applications to date.

Also in 2012, we tendered to become one of 3 Marketing Companies to provide "Marketing Expert Support" for Scottish Enterprise in the provision of both Domestic and International Strategic Digital and Product Marketing. This has led to Connect working with over 250 SMEs in the development of Marketing strategies.

In 2014, we developed our Marketing Mentoring programme, supporting young marketers into work and through their first stages of their career, another innovation in the marketing industry.

In 2016, we introduced a first to the market on-line marketing audit (10minuteaudit.com)
